Preschool Program

for 2 1/2 - 4 Year Olds

La Petite Ecole Preschool and Extended Day program for children ages 2 1/2 to 4 years old combines an arts-integrated curriculum and French language and culture for developing children's verbal, motor, social/emotional, and critical thinking abilities.

Individual and collaborative activities based on children's interests are designed to build confidence and engage students in obtaining early language literacy, mathematics, and science objectives. These include skills in conversation, writing, counting, hypothesizing, measuring, identifying, taking initiative and expanding their knowledge of their own and others' cultures.

Preschool classes are available for the full academic year, with the following weekly schedules:

2 days per week (Monday & Tuesday)
3 days per week (Wednesday, Thursday, & Friday)
5 days per week (Monday through Friday)

Program Information

Upper West Side

The following daily schedules for preschool classes held in the Upper West Side Location are as follows:

Morning Preschool: 9:00 am - 12:30 pm

Full Day Preschool: 9:00 am - 3:30 pm

(Naptime 12:30 - 2:15 pm)

Afternoon Preschool: 2:00 - 4:30 pm

The following daily schedules for preschool classes held in the Tribeca location are as follows:

Morning Preschool: 9:00 am - 12:15 pm

Full Day Preschool: 9:00 am - 3:00 pm

(Naptime 12:15 - 1:45 pm)

Afternoon Preschool:" 1:45 - 4:15 pm
